At the age of ten and the second to the oldest of five with a single Mother struggling to keep her family afloat, the realities of my mother bartending at night and going to school during the day, hit me hard. The responsibilities of the house and siblings rested solely on my sister and me. I hid in the shadows and dark recess of the home I grew up in void of any hope and filled with uncertainty of what my future would be. My only saving grace was my great-grandmother, Helen Gillespie. She was a joy to watch as God moved through her to touch the hearts of the people around her. I knew, without any doubt, that I wanted God to use me as He was using my great-grandmother.

My salvation experience was at the age of ten. From ages ten to fifteen I struggled to find out who Jesus was. I heard so many people talk about Him but I still didn't have an understanding of who He was in my life. At the age of fifteen I had a visitation from the Lord. He laid His hands on my head and I heard His voice as He prayed for me. At that moment I knew God had called me to minister and I made my commitment to Him even stronger.

I was determined to follow His lead and fulfill the call He placed on my life even though I had no idea what that call was. Jesus continually used me in intercession, deliverance, word of knowledge and teaching. I love being used by God and seeing others blessed by Him. January 1997 the Lord placed me in a Prophetic Ministry and I've been there since. My life is not my own, God occupies every space of who I am. I live, eat, breathe and sleep Jesus. He is all I desire in this life. Jesus gets all praise, honor and glory for what I have in this life, and what He's done in me and through me.

Over the last 25 years, after home schooling her four children through high school, I decided to continue my own education. I now attend Liberty University progressing towards the completion of my Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies which I will receive in May 2008. After this, I will concentrate on my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. My determination to raise my children to be fair and compassionate in this day of self-obsessions has been tested by those in the church who have attempted to stifle the anointing, and silence what God has revealed to me in dreams and visions. My husband, Bob, and I live in the quaint little town of Lake Park, NC where I continue to write books. I also dedicates my time to the community by serving as a Board Member on the Home Owners Association as well as serving as Chairperson of the Welcoming Committee.
